Collection: Abraham

Abraham demonstrated remarkable faith in the Bible through his unwavering trust in God's promises and commands. One of the most significant examples is when God called Abraham to leave his homeland and go to an unknown land (Genesis 12:1-4), and Abraham obeyed without question. His faith was further tested when God promised him descendants as numerous as the stars, despite his and Sarah’s old age and inability to have children (Genesis 15:5-6). Abraham believed God's promise, and it was credited to him as righteousness. The ultimate test of his faith came when God commanded him to sacrifice his son Isaac (Genesis 22:1-18). Abraham obeyed, trusting that God could even raise Isaac from the dead if necessary. God stopped him at the last moment, providing a ram for the sacrifice instead, affirming Abraham’s deep faith and obedience.
