David

David demonstrated strong faith in God throughout his life, trusting Him in both victories and trials. One of the most well-known examples is when David, as a young shepherd boy, faced the giant Goliath (1 Samuel 17). Despite Goliath's size and strength, David believed that God would deliver him, declaring, "The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine" (1 Samuel 17:37). With only a sling and a stone, David defeated Goliath, showing his reliance on God's power rather than human strength. Throughout his life, even during times of hardship and persecution, David consistently sought God through prayer and worship, as seen in many of the Psalms he wrote. Though he made mistakes, David’s heart remained devoted to God, earning him the title "a man after God's own heart" (Acts 13:22).
